Black American Studies at University of Delaware in cooperation with The Center for Black Culture, CHPP, The Department of Communication, Political Science and History, The Provost's Office, The Commission to Promote Racial and Cultural Diversity, The College of Arts and Sciences, and The office of the President is pleased to announce lecture by Gwen Ifill on October 29, 2009.

Gwen Ifill is moderator and managing editor of Washington Week and senior correspondent for The News Hour with Jim Lehrer.

Ifill will host two events related to her recent book, The Breakthrough: Politics and Race in the Age of Obama.

The lecture is free and open to public and is scheduled on October 29, 2009 at 4:00 pm.
