
Professor Fleury-Steiner earned in his bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and his master’s and doctoral degrees in sociology from Northeastern University. His research interests include inequality, law and society and social control. He is the author of “Jurors' Stories of Death: How America's Death Penalty Invests in Inequality” and “Keeping the Public in the Dark: The (Un)Availability of Public Information Regarding the Parole of Murderers”.
